What does it mean to be a tester?
A tester is a person who tests software bugs, defects, or any problem that affects the performance of software or application.
Testers are equal members of the software development team that performs functional and non-functional software/application testing using manual and automated testing techniques.
A tester job is often good fun. The tester writes tests and scenarios that he later implements on the application/software, thereby ensuring that the product is in accordance with the requirements of the client, company or/and project assignment.
What does good testing entail?
Good testing is often very challenging. It requires understanding the issue better than the rest of the development team. It often involves making difficult choices. Good testing helps an organization deliver a quality product, and a good tester will always be a sought position in companies.

If it generally entertains you to look for hidden bugs and system flaws.
If you understand that your job will not only be to find bugs but to point out the problems in the quality of the product and thus help to get the project on track.
If you can communicate with people, even developers (?) by explaining that you are there to help them improve the product together.
