Android Dev Summit's Live Stream
As a result of successful cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (University of Montenegro) we organized live streaming of Android Dev Summit in the University Hall.
The summit was held in California and the topic was news from the world of Android application development.
Live streaming was reserved for the event keynote: Dave Burke, VP of Engineering, and Steph Cuthbertson, Senior Director of Product Management.
We had the opportunity to hear interesting information about the future of Android apps. We also learned that Kotlin has taken primacy as a programming language - it is increasingly becoming the first choice when developing new applications. We also learned that a new 4.0 version of the Android Studio environment has been released, and with it, new development tools. Particularly prominent is Compose, which allows us to write user interfaces in a whole new and modern way. Developers around the world can now easily try Compose, the current version is still under development - while a stable version of the all-new Android Studio and its tools can be expected over the next year.
In cooperation with Google developers club Podgorica we organized Q&A with Senior android developers. In this section, we exchanged views on this internationally relevant topic and thus made it meaningful domestically.
One interesting gathering is behind us, and we look forward to new ones.
