BoostMeUp - the second generation of program
The second generation of "BoostMeUp", the first pre-acceleration program in Montenegro, begins with the implementation on 9/20/2021.
As a continuation of the successfully implemented previous generation of program, this year's program is designed for innovators, development teams in the early phase of an entrepreneurial venture, as well as entrepreneurs who intend to bring new and innovative products or services to market.
The leading partner in the program is the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center Tehnopolis, and the partners are the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, the IT company Amplitudo Llc and Crnogorski Telekom. The program is co-financed by the Ministry of Economic Development of Montenegro.
The program will last ten months during which teams will develop their ideas with representatives of a consortium of project partners and international, regional, and national mentors through a four-day Bootcamp, a five-month mentoring program in 6 modules with a large number of workshops, meet-ups, keynote lectures, and group and individual sessions with mentors.
In addition to the representatives of the consortium of project partners, international, regional, and national mentors such as Tanja Senekovič - Slovenia, Petra Karanikić - Croatia and Vladimir Nedović - the Netherlands, Dr. Nedeljko Milosavljevic and Dr. Đorđe Ćelić - Serbia, Darko Ivanović - Montenegro, and mentors from special thematic units from Montenegrin companies such as Crnogorski Telekom, Elektroprivreda Crne Gore, with the special support of ICT Cortex, as well as the global company - Rakuten Viber.
A significant segment of this year's edition of the program will be financial support for the best six ideas, with 6000 EUR per idea.
This year, the program is in line with the strategic direction of Montenegro's innovation and technological development and it is predominantly based on the normative framework and key strategic documents, primarily on the Strategy of Smart Specialization of Montenegro - S3 (2019-2024).
